Personal data

Personal information is information about your identity. This includes details such as your name, e-mail address. For the use of our Internet pages, it is necessary that you disclose certain personal information. In certain cases, however, we need your name and your address and other information so that we can provide the required services.

The processing of personal data is done only to render the requested service and to safeguard our own legitimate business interests.

Intended use of personal data. 

When you do provide us with personal data, we usually use it to respond to your enquiry, process your order or provide you access to specific information or offers. For the maintenance of customer relations, it may also be necessary for us or a service provider under contract with us, to keep you informed of product offers, which may be useful for your business, or to carry out on-line surveys so that we can better deal with the tasks and requests made by our customers.

Of course, we would respect your wishes, should you not want your personal data to be used for supporting our customer relationships (especially for direct marketing or for market research purposes). We will not sell personal data to third parties nor market it in any other manner.

We will collect, process and use the personal data that has been provided by you on-line for the informed purposes only. The forwarding of your personal data to third parties for other purposes is excluded.

The collection of personal data and the transmission of such data to state institutions and authorities that are entitled to receive such information shall only be carried out within the scope of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to collect and transmit such data due to a judicial ruling. Our employees as well as service providers engaged by us have been obliged by us to confidentiality and to comply with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act. When using our Internet pages, the following data is saved for organisational and technical reasons: the names of the pages you have visited, the browser you are using and your operating system, the date and time of access, search engines, the names of downloaded files and their IP address.

We evaluate this technical data anonymously and only for statistical purposes, to continually optimise our website and make our Internet offers even more attractive. This data will be stored separately from other personal information on secure systems. No conclusions are drawn as to the situation of an individual or a legal entity.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. In case of activation of the IP anonymization, Google will truncate/anonymize the last octet of the IP address for Member States of the European Union as well as for other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, the full IP address is sent to and shortened by Google servers in the USA. On behalf of the website provider Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website provider.
